Molchanovs Instructor Memberships Details

To become a Freediving Instructor certified by Molchanovs Education, a freediver must complete a Molchanovs Freediving Instructor Course or Crossover, and successfully pass all Molchanovs Instructor tests, the Molchanovs Instructor Examination, and receive a passing grade on the final paper.

Active Status / Renewal

A Molchanovs Instructor (of any level) needs to renew his active status every year. Active status expires one year from the date of renewal.

Active CPR / First Aid Certification

To sign-up or renew active status, a Molchanovs Instructor of any level needs to provide proof of a first aid certification or first aid certification refresher no older than two years at the time of application or renewal.

Professional Liability Insurance

To sign-up or renew active status, a Molchanovs Instructor of any level needs to provide proof of professional liability insurance for freediving for the whole calendar year. Any further insurances requested by local law are the responsibility of the Molchanovs Instructor and will not be checked by Molchanovs.

Dive & Health Insurance

Molchanovs strongly recommends that a Molchanovs Instructor carries a personal health insurance which covers also freediving. If local law requires to carry a personal health insurance it is to the responsibility of the Molchanovs Instructor to hold such and will not be checked by Molchanovs.

NOTE: New Membership Fees
We are making some changes to our membership fees, including a new 6-month option for unlimited instructors. Beginning April 1st 2021:

• Introducing a 6 months plan for unlimited instructors: USD 395
• Unlimited instructor yearly membership: USD 650, extend your unlimited instructor membership once for the old price: USD 450
• Independent instructor membership: USD 100, sign-up fee per student for independent instructors remains at USD 25
• Dive Center Functionality will remain available, but at no discount compared to unlimited instructors. Dive Centers can extend their instructors once as unlimited instructor for the old price: USD 450
• Upgrade from independent to unlimited instructor membership: The already paid Independent fee is being reimbursed pro-rata of the used 365 days.
