The Molchanovs Freediving Education courses are designed to be flexible to adapt to the conditions and the needs of the students.
For example, students from cold countries who wish to do full Wave courses can take the pool component with a local instructor, and choose do complete their depth somewhere warmer. Or perhaps a student is excellent in the pool, but due to lack of access to depth, find it difficult to practice their equalisation.
As such, we have created Lap and Wave courses.
Lap courses are pool courses which can be completed in any 50m pool.
Wave courses include the equivalent level of Lap course, as well as a depth component.
If you have signed up for a Wave course but are unable to complete the depth component, you will be able to be certified as the equivalent Lap course as long as you have completed the pool requirements. You will then be given access to our weekly Base Training, and can continue to train to pass the depth component at your own time.
If you plan to do the pool and depth components in different location with different instructors, you should take a Lap course first and then a Wave upgrade course.
